Hikvision dvr setup

The boys have just installed 4 camera hikvision setup.

Wifi access to tv and phone no problem

I did a remote setup once from home for the property of the installation but i cant remember how i did it.

Please can you gurus refresh my memory how to access the dvr from my home to setup up remote config.

Not sure what your asking.

normally for access to the dvr/nvr you are looking at connecting it on the local network its via the internal ip address assigned to it, or via an external ip address being port forwarded to the dvr/nvr.

however I believe there are several ways to connect to the system remotely.

If i want to access the dvr from different premises do i need to input external ip address via web browser

Have you downloaded and tried Hikvision’s iVMS-4200 client manager.
