I am re positioning the kitchen units (floor)and resiting the tumble dryer. The way it works out the tumble dryer will be in a double doored unit 2 x 40cm doors, however when I open the left door it will make access impossible as it will block the entry (due to cooker).
I am looking at hinging the 2 doors together rather than a left & right door, so when it opens one door will fold back against the other.
My main concern would be the weight of the 2 doors on 1 set of hinges.
A single 80 cm door would work but not the preferred solution as this would improve access but not 100%.

Any thoughts on this or any better suggestions?

Then why not add an extra hinge to support the combination? After all full height cupboard doors (i.e. floor to ceiling ones) are often hinged on three, four or sometimes five hinges.
