I'd like to remove the internal supports to my hipped roof, to make accessing the loft easier.
There are three rows of these ‘supports’;
The vertical pieces are joined from the horizontal binder on the ceiling joists to the roof rafters. The horizontal pieces are attached to the roof rafters.
The middle vertical piece is joined to the top ridge.
I believe these were temporary supports for the roof’s construction, what do you think?
