Hi everyone, please can I pick your brains…
We have the attached thermostat/on off switch. It’s on an external wall in a static caravan so is always cold and doesn’t work very well.
There is a mechanical time clock on the boiler which is a Morco GB24 which we plan to leave in the ‘on’ setting and let the Hive override it. Is that ok?
We are going with a Hive and would really appreciate your advice regarding the wiring.
There are 3 wires:
Brown
Grey w Blue sleeve
Black w Brown sleeve
Is it ok to wire the hive receiver to this point rather than connect it direct to the combi in the cupboard or is it basically the same?
Do the wires go like this….
N - Grey w Blue sleeve?
L - Brown?
1 -
2 -
3 - Black w Brown sleeve?
Does there need to be a link wire between L and 1 ?
Any help and advice would be gratefully appreciated!
