Hi, I have a heat only boiler and the gas engineer will install the dual channels HIVE thermostat for me to replace a programmer , so I don't need to bother on it.

But I have two heatmister thermostat for control the two zone underfloor heating. I am planning to replace them on my own. So I buy two HIVE single channel thermostat to replace them.

I would like to confirm the wiring before I go for any action on it. Thanks.

The Live and Neutral are straight forward,I would like to confirm the A1 and A2 wiring in HIVE thermostat. I attach the wiring picture.

If the old thermostats operated correctly, then the Hive will too.
All the old stat did, was to connect together the wires in A1 and A2, just like a big switch. The Hive will do the same.
An ideal position for the Hive may have to be found - thermostats respond slightly differently to the heat from UFH, compared to convecting radiators; that's why some UFH stats have connections to an underfloor sensor, for more accurate control.
