Hive2 help please wires

This is really basic - are you sure you're a qualified electrician?!
Terminal 1 at the hive (common) should connect through to terminal 1 at the boiler and terminal 3 at the hive (heating on n/o) should connect through to terminal 2 at the boiler - the hive is going where the boiler circuit diagram shows the optional room thermostat.

Thank you, I wasn't sure if it went to the lv side of the boiler I was thinking of taking the link wire out but wanted to make sure that the 240v didn't blow the hive I measure the lv which was 25v,Yes I am qualified but haven't had any expirence with thermostats , I just do new installs and testing boards . I have my 2230 leval 3 , 2391 and 17th edition . Just not much experience with boilers. Many thanks again .

In fairness most electricians will have little to do with heating controls

Sorry but heating controls are just devices on circuits and there is a wiring diagram.
If you have 2230, 2391 and 17th and can't fathom how to wire in a room stat then you have no business doing new installs and testing.
