I need to put a 150mm rigid PVC pipe through a brick wall for a kitchen extractor. I have the opportunity to borrow a diamond core drill but I need to get the correct bit size. Do I need a 150mm bit? Or should it be slightly bigger? Thanks.

Never used one that big but I think by the time you have angled it a bit then gone back on line the hole will be slightly bigger than 150, if not then run it in and out a few times wriggling it about.

A few mill bigger

Thanks all. I've found a 152mm size which sounds perfect. I'll measure the exterior diameter when the pipe arrives, to make sure.
