Hi all,
Recently bought a house with a few bodge jobs and evidence of past leaks. One of these is under a window, which I believe is historic and sorted as it's not leaked or been damp since I have moved in, although I will need to sort the peeling paint.
Had a look under the window recently and was delighted to discover what appears to be a plastic bag plugging a hole in the wood beneath the window sill. The hole seems a couple of inches long and not sure how deep as I haven't dared pull the bag out. Obviously neither the hole nor the bag is ideal!
What would be the best way to fill this? Any tips would be appreciated.
