I've recently bought and installed one of these.http://www.micromark.co.uk/epages/micromark.filereader?439f002c001d3c2e27400a020f650570+EN/products/MM23255 It has a SCART socket that need...he house? Would one of these do the trick:http://www.globalcom.co.uk/prod_blank.php?ProductsID=49 Or maybe one of these http://www.globalcom.co.uk/prod_blank.php?ProductsID=35 Here comes the technical bit ...nd can't get my head round it! A CCD camera signal to the scart is normally composite. I take it you are wanting to use the VCR to convert the signal from Composite to UHF and then to a distribution amplifier to distribute the UHF signal around the house.
A few things to note, the VCR will always need to be tuned to the scart (AV1 etc) and left turned on, so recording your TV channels using this VCR may be out of the question. You should also be able to set the output UHF channel on the VCR away from normal TV channels.
The Loftbox's you quote are powered from a sky digibox so are not compatable, unless you can buy a power supply.

Thanks, that's helpful. I though the loftboxs were intended for this type of thing. Here's the link (and hopefully it'll work this time): [code:1]http://www.globalcom.co.uk/prod_blank.php?ProductsID=49[/code:1]

Could another option be to convert the scart to RF (if that's possible - I've never seen it before). Then out it straight into the loftbox. And then from there distribute it to the various TVs in the house???

Thanks!

You need to put around the links, not

.

I notice in your original post you had - how did they get the wrong way round? Did you type them by hand?

Have a search for a modulator. I thinks that's the piece of kit that does that. Digi signal in via a scart and RF out to your "loop box" or tv amp.

The loftbox, judging from the picture appears to take power from the mains:

It appears Global Communications produce their own brand of CCTV camera which plug straight into the Loftbox and can be viewed on any of the 5 TVs, it isn't clear if you can plug another source in, but if so you should be able to do as you say (you may need to convert the composite signal to UHF.)

RF modulators are available from CPC, they take the composite signal from the scart and convert it to UHF, same result as using the VCR.

you can get f-plug converters (back to back style) from any diy shed, i had to buy a couple when i got my DAB radio, it had screw-type input for some odd reason
