Homebase Polished porcelain floor tiles- Seal or not?

Confused. On the receipt it said yes (but nothin on the box) and staff in store said no.

Been searching and the answer is it depends.....

Tried a perm marker on one of them. Wiped off ok a few hours later.

So do I need to seal or not?

I've got the same dilemma. Did you seal yours - if not how have they got on?
