Honda GX160 Engine.

Just inherited a vibrating plate with this engine and its not running brilliantly, it barely idles at all without cutting out but runs ok when throttled on. Could anyone point me in the direction of a workshop manual for this engine because they are so common i was hoping there may be one free online but i haven't found it yet?

If you can get hold of a can of carburettor cleaner and hopefully the use of compressed air, dismantle the carburettor and give it a thorough clean. Its not a difficult thing to do, but the pilot mixture jet may have a tamperproof cap on it, and this can be prised off. Set this to one turn out when the job is done.
Treat it to a new plug and air filter too!
