Honeywell Galaxy Flex GSM/GPRS A801-00-01 Firmware update from V2.04 to 2.07

Hi everybody !

Because you solves my problems previous time and I hope to share troubleshooting tips, I write this new thread request!
I'm pretty sure that @GalaxyGuy have the answer

Sometime my GSM module (galaxy flex 50) looks to stay fault.
I did not understand exactly what happen, but [61.1.6.Com5.1] Diag mod indicate "--" as signal level => offline module
I've to update "Fault restore" parameter to re-activate automatically the module without success (value = 00:10 for 10 minutes)

GSM/GPRS A801-00-01 rev B1 /A081-00-01F / diag menu info V2.04

I've read somewhere in another forums that this module have a V2.07 firmware upgrade with fault restore fix.

- Is somebody here have more details about reason of auto "off-line" the module ?
- Does a firmware upgrade of GSM module is possible ? (main board FX-50 is on V3.54)

In parallel, I'm looking to buy a external GSM antenna to improve reception quality.

Hi, a fix was added at version 2.06 to reset the modem if it ever goes into an unresponsive state. You should improve the signal and also update to the latest version 2.07 for the best results.

Do you know how to upgrade it?

I ve found another element who can explain why I have GSM troubles... 2G and 3G band was stopped by my suppliers near my home. Goodbye 900 and 1800MHz. ! Consumer World !

I'll try to force roaming but in case of failed... I think my only solution is to trash my (not so) old GSM module.

Ouch. Pm me if you need the fw files. Otherwise, use a 4G router for broadband and an a083-10 v4.16b2 ethernet module.
