Honeywell Optima/G4

Hi,

My optima G4 alarm seems to be playing up. It's reporting a setting fault in various zones even though the PIR doesn't light up to indicate movement. Also, if I omit a zone and then cycle the omit menu again to check which zones have been omitted the unit seems to have forgotten which ones I've "omitted"...

Anything straightforward I can try/test here?

No it lights up when you move in front of it. Although it doesn't seem to record a setting fault when you do that

why not set it (or try) and if it does not set, come back in (do not turn it off) and note wht is showing. anything tht is being indicated as being at fault must be what is wrong.

have you changed anything recently? i.e new door, planed a door etc
