Hmmm well it should get cheaper hopefully. Been waiting for these to come out even though I bought a Makita drill in the end. Hopefully will buy some Ryobi 1+ tools in the future. IT definitely cheaper than those rip-off merchants on Ebay who import them from the states.

Screwfix now do the li-ion kit. Drill,charger and one battery for £150, or same but with 2 batts for £200. Seperates same price as the other link though.

although the battery number is 1820!!!

with ryobi most batts certainly 18v ones are voltage and power as the battery number as in one+ 18vx1.7ah is 1817 with only the letters chainging to denote the differnt type of battery[one plus or slide on lithium]

The ones on screwfix are listed as 2.0Ah, though it doesn't seem to give a battery number. Whenever I've seen mention of them for sale from the US they have been 2.4Ah but then they are listed as a battery number P104

I work for a company that distributes the Lithium Ion range and they are now listing the UK range on eBay with Best Offer available on it. Hopefully that might save some people a bit of money off the quite high SSP's!!!
