Hoover 1300 5+5 Washn Dry

I had a problem with machine not draining water. I managed to fix
this by cleaning the filter.

Now the drum does not turn during a wash or when I put it on spin ?
Any suggestions ?

Can only be a few things (assuming the programmer is turning);
1) Drum bearings are seized - Can you turn the drum by hand ?
2) Motor not turning - Can you hear it running when its supposed to ?
If not sure you will have to take the back off. If the motor is not turning , the brushers may be worn down.
3) Has the belt broken or is it slipping when the motor turns ? Replace or
tighten it.

Thanks for the suggestions;

1) I can turn the drum by hand
2) I can hear the motor running, it makes all the noises as
if it should be spinning.
3) will check the belt

I now have another problem, the programmer is no longer
turning ?

Problem fixed, removed back and found belt on floor.
Put it back on and machine is now working again.
