I have a Hoover 6 AM120 which I have had a few problems with. It was not going through a fast spin so have been using slower programmes. Sometimes it wouldnt begin moving but when I banged the right hand side of the machine (technical I know) it would start! 
It is now doing nothing when I turn it on it fills up fine but then no movement at all, that is all programmes. Have checked the brushes which seem fine, they are shiny and touching no problem, think there is over an inch showing. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.
