Hoover hnf 2137 washing machine

Bought this washer last monday and has been working fine up untill yesterday problen now is ,1 programe wash and press strat wait 30 seconds and it goes to pre wash but nothing happens . I have checked the water supply and that is fine and I have checked the waste pipe and that is also ok. Any thoughts on this one .

Crisis over, It went back to the shop and they exchanged it for another and that seems to be working ok now. They said it was probably the pump that had failed. Thanks for the tip breezer.
