hoover hw130m washer/drier NOT drying HELP!

Hi after a wash the clothes sit in water and the drier does not heat up although you can hear something whirring and the drum does not spin. I've tried to reset the cut out switches front and back but they don't move. Any help gratefully received.

It sounds like the machine is not draining properly so it won't ever get as far as the drying function. You need to check for an obstruction in the pump or associated plumbing.
