hoover otima nextra6 washer/dryer

Hi, has anyone else had problems with their washer/dryer, Ours is only 6 months old and has broken down 3 times with the same complaint, a faulty programme selector, Hoover send out an engineer to fix it, but surely enough is enough. They have said they cant replace it this time, will have to wait till it breaks down again.... Shop brought it from dont want to know.
Any ideas.

It does pay to harrass manufacturer and trader about this

Definately down to them, we had to replace a faulty machine 8 months old as we sold it then claim back from manufacturer
