The drum had water in it when it finished a wash cycle so I drained it out so i could open the door i then put it on a drying cycle for an hour it goes through its checks then starts to work, halfway through it stops and the timer counts down with nothing happening so i shut it down but it will not open the door. When I do get the door open the clothes are still soaking wet.any ideas anyone

sounds like pump not working / filter (if fitted) blocked (they use cold water on the drying side, believe it or not)

I fitted a new pump only a year ago and I took it out yesterday to check it seems ok.I also cleaned out what is probably the filter which is located at the front of the machine. I have just put it on a setting which is a short spin (about 6 minutes) which should drain out water but the water is still in the drum this then stops the door from being opened

since the water is pumped out of a m/c and you have cleaned the filter then either the pump is not running (broken wire / bad connection ?) or the grey drain hose , waste pipe is blocked.

I once saw a spigot connection (under the sink) and it was 99% blocked with fluf / lint) cleaned it out, no more problems

Breezer spot on. The grey hose was blocked right at the end in the waste pipe.

many thanks
