My hoover WDM 120 washing machine has developed a fault.
The motor appears to be not working.
I have checked the brushes, which are fine.
I have replaced the motor control unit with a new one.
I have replaced the motor tach unit with a new one.
I have checked for continuity through the brushes and through the outer windings.
the motor looks in good condition with no smells of burning out.
The machine will pump out water, but when it is time for the motor to move the drum nothing happens.
The belt is also ok
The drum spins feely by hand, and the bearings are ok.
I have checked the 2 cut out switches on the top and they appear ok.
Is there anyway i can check the motor ?
is there anything else it could be.
any help much appreciated.
