Hoover315 80 Dishwasher

I have a Hoover315 80 (Nextra) dishwasher. The water was not heating and when the wash was finished there was about an inch of water still in the bottom of the dishwasher. The dishes were still wet. Have put in a new heating element but water still not getting hot and checked pump to make sure it is not blocked.

Any advice would be great.

No-heat issues don't automatically mean the heater element is defective...didn't you measure the resistance of the old one?
There are several other possible causes....defective thermostat/NTC, break in wiring, pcb, wash motor, or pressostat.
