Hi all.

I have just installed some artificial grass. In terms of cleaning debris, I have read that domestic hoovers shouldn’t be used as the suction is too powerful for the grass.

Has anyone tried using a standard hoover, and if so how did you get on?

Many thanks

Have not tried, but thought about it. Does you hover have variable settings? Surely a low setting won't damage the grass. Sure suction should not be too powerful in general though, but they are probably just covering themselves for claims!

Well i have used shop vacs with no problems so you should be ok with a hoover.

Never had fake grass so don't know but would suggest if you do then make sure the beater bar is not spinning or it may damage the 'grass'.
