Hoptoint BWD20 Dryer Not Working

The dryer is not woking. if I set the dry cycle for about 20mins then open the door the clother are still cold, is the heater broken. A second problem isI keep getting black lines on the clothes especilly when using long spin at 1600rpm.
The machine is about 3 years old
