Hi,

I have just had a new Condensing combi boiler installed which has its flue positioned horizontally and comes out of a ground floor wall at the front of my house. The boiler is large and powerful and the steam from the flue is dense and extends a good 2-3 metres before dispersing. Can you recommend anything that I can put infront of the flue do cause the steam to disperse almost immediately.

Thank you

What make of boiler is it? Some makes sell a diverter kit. You can't put anything in front of it for 600mm- perhaps a billboard to earn a few bob or a nice tree that likes acidity! A bird table perhaps?

The boiler is a British Gas RD542i which I believe is manufactured by Worcester.

Don't believe they make them yet. I'm afraid you're stuck with it for now unless you can accomodate a vertical flue internally. How long since it was put there? It shouldn't have come as a surprise- they should have explained it all to you.
