I'm looking to buy a horizontal wheel bench grinder, suitable for grinding up plane (21/2") and chisel blades etc - for up to £150 or so. Has anyone got any recommendations? I'm looking at the Draper GWD205A - there doesn't seem to be much choice out there. Cheers John

I've read good things (though I can't remember where) of the Work Sharp system, which uses abrasive discs, dry.
I use a Tormek, which is very good if you are happy with or prefer a hollow grind.

i have aScheppach Tiger 2500 paid £168 including delivery the a accsesorys are interchangable with the tormek i believe
