Horizontal lines on double glazing

Hi,

Moved in to a new house and the double glazing has regular horizontal lines on the panes that won't clean off . wondering if these have blown perhaps? Not sure how visible it is in the picture

I reckon it's damage to the soft coat, which is probably on side 3 of the double glazing (counting from outside)

Is it silvery?

Not really. Just looks like water marks more than anything

Yeah, looks a bit like the one in the 2nd image although more pronounced on mine.

Looks like roller marks from production line to me ( as glass is ' rolled ' through sealed unit plant to be washed) . If they are on the inside of the sealed unit ( which I suspect they are ) then you aren't going to get rid of them ...ever. My suspicion is that the units have indeed ' blown ' and this is the residue forming through calcium deposits being left on the glass

Cheers. Yes marks are inside. Was going to replace them anyway but nice to have confirmation
