Horstman/off peak time / hot water

Hello team , I have got Horstman tank boiler in my new house and I don’t understand how it works. I tried to set off peak timings I.e 11pm to 6 am. We got hot water for some days but then I got bill of £699 so I thought I kept it for long hours so I changed setting to 1hr (6am to 7am) but I didn’t get the hot water next day. Again I have set back from 11pm to 6am but I am not getting hot water now. Can you please guide me how to sort out this problem?

do you know what model the timer is and what is heating the tank, gas or oil boiler or is it electric ?

It’s a Horstman electric 7. It’s electric tank heating in the house

In terms of off peak do you have economy 7 overnight tariff.

What size and colour is your hot water cylinder?
