Hot point wma66 washer, fills but won't turn, then drains??

Hi all, my wma 66 hot point washer won't turn after filling, this happens on all program's it then drains and returns to start, any ideas?

Check the motor brushes.

Changed the motor bushes but that hasnt fixed the problem,

I said check them, if they were OK there was no point changing them. Next thing to check is for damaged motor wires. Sometimes they rub on the bottom concrete block and sometimes wires actually fall out of the motor plug. One thing to point out, some new brushes have a plastic hook moulded onto the front of the brush holder to keep them retracted. These hooks have to be snapped off to let the carbon make contact.
