Hi folks, I'm new on here and I hope you can help me.
I'm a DIY enthusiast and always "have a go" at sorting a
Problem, before calling out the experts.
I have in fact fixed my boiler before by bleeding the heat
Exchangers and pump.
The problem this time is that I have hot water (very hot),
But no heat to the radiators, even though when switched on,
The pump seems to be working, ( I've bled the four vents in
The boiler, including the pump ). I can feel the vibration of it
Working and also it feels very hot, ( full of hot water ? ).
When I first switch it on, the burner fires up but goes off after
a few seconds, ( overheat cutoff switch ?? ).
Obviously I'm no plumber, and the service manual is mostly
Gobbledygook to me, but the fault finding page seems to
suggest that it may be the differential valve ( whatever that is ).
The combi boiler is a Vaillant VCW-sine 18 t3 w.
Any help will be greatly appreciated...
