Your dishwasher should be fitted to the COLD supply, as it's not cost effective to connect to the hot, as some of the wash cycle uses cold water only.
I doubt it will affect your boiler in any way, but it may affect your dishwashers warranty if it's not recommended for connection to the hot supply.
