Hot Water Heater Help Needed..

I have a hot water heater that looks like is constantly draining hot water from the pressure release at the top of the unit to outside the house.. Is this normal?? I just noticed it today..

i am not a plumber or heating engineer, but this is a U.K. based website and your "sytem" may have different components/ model than we do, may I suggest you ask here as it is an American forum

David if the PRV is letting by, call in the local plumber who deals with pressurised hot water systems. It could be temperature or pressure related problem
