Just purchased some new bath taps. Turned off the water by a tap in the garage and put a block of wood under the stopcock in the water tank in the loft.

Replaced my old bath taps with my new ones turned the water back on and removed the wood.

Cold water works fine but the hot water runs then slows down then stops after 10-15 seconds runs again and the off again. This is now also the same in the kitchen these worked fine before.

Tried running the taps with both the heating on and the hot water on but no joy

Any suggestions please ?

You have a jolly old dreaded airlock...which may cure itself...or it may not.
Basically what you have to do is to force high pressure cold water up the new hot tap, until it forces its way gently into the loft tank. This will clear the air bubble.
Give it a while though to see if it comes back on...your luck could be in!

Many Thanks Burnerman.
Just ran the hot water for a couple of minutes and fingers crossed it stayed running ( at a constant pace ).

This is my first post on here so i'm very greatful for the fast and helpful response.
