Is it possible to install a domestic hot water loop (to circulate hot water to the far reaches of a house so that hot water comes out of the taps immediately) using a combi-boiler without a hot water cylinder?
Not really. Where would the returning hot water go? Back into the cold inlet of the comb, which would then keep cycling on and off to maintain the temperature of the loop? Also such a set up would involve a pump connected directly to the mains which is a no-no.
Better idea would be to install a small unvented cylinder, or even to supply the remote hot water outlets by small (15 litre) electrically heated unvented stores.
