Hi everyone,

I want to replace my old school and broken mechanical timer on my hot water cylinder with a smart one. I ordered a smart switch from Amazon which has the same voltage range and AC as my old timer. However, the wiring isn't the same because of that I wanted to take your opinions. You can see both devices below. If you can help me with wiring from old to new, I would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance

The black is the switched live.
Hi, That worked thank you very much both of you.

However, I have one small question. If I want to cancel both the old timer and the smart timer and let it run always (there is a separate thermostat) which cables should I connect directly?

Thanks in advance
