Hello - I’m hoping someone here might be able to help me! We have just moved house. Our domestic hot water is supplied by a Rayburn in the kitchen, and feeds to a hot water cylinder in the bathroom. My problem is that the hot water pressure upstairs in the bathroom is terrible. Flow rate is low, not much more than a trickle, and this stops if a tap is turned on elsewhere in the house. Cold water is fine. Any ideas or do I need to get someone to take a look at it? Thanks in advance for your help!

Badly designed pipework and/or lousy cold water storage cistern placement. The HW pressure will be dictated by how much higher the cold water storage cistern is above the hot water cylinder. Every meter above it = 0.1bar.

Time to get an experienced, recommended plumber in perhaps.
