i just tried to reply to an email i had, (never email them before) i got this message
The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was (i removed that bit)
Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 553, Error Number: 0x800CCC79
now seeing as they emailed me first, and i just cliked on reply it should work?
the bit that i find "interesting" is this '553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts
now i know bt are trying to cut down on spam (i had to tick the "accont requires authorisation box" in all my email accounts) but my question is, has any one else had problems using bt and replying to a hotmail account
i would have tried another hotmail account, but i dont know anyone who has one.
the email was not spam, just some one saying something i need to reply to
