Hotpoint Aquarius 1200 WMA 54 strange noise.

Our Hotpoint washing machine is making a strange noise when spinning, it almost sounds like something is clicking against the drum as it spins, does anyone have any suggestions? If I need to open the machine up any suggestions also appreciated?

Look underneath could be motor brushes sparking. Can u see blue flashes on the motor when it spins. Or a raised segment on the commutator.
