Hotpoint Aquarius washer/dryer smells bad when drying

Bought a 12 month old Hotpoint Aquarius washer/dryer 1200 WD62 It washes great but when drying it smells of what i would say is like an hydrolic oily smell that fills the kitchen and taints the dry clothes
The person we bought it off says it had hardly been used which i think is correct as it is like new the wife seems to think the smell from the dryer is because it has never been used but i have my doubts about that as i dont think a new machine would smell so bad when drying!
Any ideas please thanks?

Mine does too ... maybe it's something the manufacturer needs to look at
