This machine has been tearing holes in woollens(using hand wash cycle) and tshirt fabrics. Was seen by a mechanic and fixed!!! but now new holes appearing. Reluctant to pay for the engineer again as I\\\'m now just out of warranty. Any ideas?
small round holes are caused by the items going through the holes in the drum then being "sliced" by the heater (usualy its the heater) they get through the holes because centrifugal force, forces them through the holes.
The centrifugal force is too high. i.e wrong spin speed (i said you wouldn't like it)
I once got called out for similar, i picked up the garment in question, looked at the wash care label, gave it to mr customer said goodbye, and as i left said "read the label mate" as i shut the door Mr customer was shouting at mrs customer (thats why i left)
and the label said.........................................
