Hotpoint Aquarius

I have a Hotpoint aquarius wml520 everything working fine except when I switch the on/off button off after the wash the machine powers off but then powers itself back on approx 50 seconds later as if it's ready to start again with all lights on and the start/pause button flashing ready to go. Happens with door closed and open? On/off button seems fine any ideas thanks
