Hotpoint BWD129 washer/dryer cold fill only ???

Hi, Recently moved into a new house and i noticed the washer (bwd129) pipes is connected to the hot and cold water but the hot water is turned off. Can anybody tell me is this because its a cold fill ony washer ?

If it has 2 water inlet pipes, I think you can rest assured that the machine is designed for hot and cold fill.....who knows why the hot was turned off though!

Why not turn it on, and see?
It could be an idea to disconnect the washer fill hose, turn the tap on and see if water starts to flow as it should.....make sure the taps are actually turnable though!
I've come across 3 machines this year that have had the hot and cold supplies reversed.....gawd knows why.
