hotpoint dishwasher fills then drains?

morning all,my hotpoint fdw60 as developed a fault if anyone can help me please,on starting it fills with water on prewash,does not even start the prewash cycle,it just goes onto wash cycle and drains it away straight away ,

its done this 3 times this morning when first putting it on,fills,emptys,fills emptys etc

it also makes a noise like gurgling noise ,like air coming through the drain hose,when it does this,water is evident n the bottom of the dishwasher and when opening the door there is steam in the wsher but the water is cold

typical happens just after we had to replace our washing machine,any suggestions please

drain hose down too low syphoning ,or circulation pump gone.

thanks rocks1,dont think its the hose,been in the same position since we got it with no problems,will look into it
