I have been insured through domestic and general for over 3 years paying monthly for that privilege, however i have discovered that I may as well have chucked my money down the drain, ( I have since cancelled the monthly payments) . the problem i have is that the control panel on the front which houses the 4 x gas hob knobs the top oven and main oven knobs are all situated within that control panel, the problem is it has developed some rust on the left hand side, Hotpoint, and domestic and general tell me i am not covered for that, what i want to know is how do i remove the control facial panel from the cooker, i accept the knobs need to be removed first, and there appear to be 2 x screws situated under the control panel which screw upwards into the body of the cooker, if i can find a way of removing this panel, then i can gently rub down the white enamel with some wet and dry and carefully repaint it, apart from that the cooker works fine, thanks in anticipation
