Hotpoint First Edition 1200 No Power

Hi,

our Hotpoint First Edition 1200 has lost all power.

The washer was on a hot wash (95 degree) when this happened, and it occured mid-cycle.

I've tested the socket and changed the fuse in the washing machine plug, these are ok, but machine has no power.

Does anyone have any suggestions, this washer is over 5 years old and I want to know:
1. what might be the problem;
2. whether it's worth fixing (approx. costs) or should we just buy a new one.
