hotpoint HND315 Dishwasher

Hi,
My dishwasher leaves a small amount of water in it when the cycle is complete. Is it possible this is due to a faulty pump? Any help/advice would be appreciated.

All dishwashers leave a small amount of water in the sump at the end of a cycle...if it didn't you'd soon notice a very bad smell.
BTW......HND315 is a Hoover model, not a Hotpoint
