Hotpoint not working

I have a dishwasher that is over 12 months old, but has only been used twice. The second time it was used it tripped the mains. After re-setting the mains it didnt continue the cycle. I have since cleaned the dishwasher. The on and off light works, but when I choose a cycle nothing happens. The door is shut properly and th eplumber has tested the water supply and its ok. The drian is clear too

Help!! I have also checked the fuse, but the fuse is fine.
