Hotpoint problem

Hi everyone.
Having a problem with a Hotpoint WML720 washing machine.
It fills and does the washing cycle,but not the spin. It stops at the second light down on the front panel and fails to click onto the third light..
The machine is then full of water

Any help would be great.

Check the filter/ pump. Then check the rinse valve.
