Hotpoint SD33x plug in electric oven. 10amp . Max wattage 2400W . Is this a simple plug in and go. Is there anything that needs to be done regarding earthing first?Thanks.

If the oven came with its own flex and plug, it is indeed that - plug in and go.
The earthing should be taken care of, courtesy of your ring main.
