Hotpoint spin cycle problem

My Hotpoint will not spin with a full load of laundry. I have to make sure the load is really light. I can only wash a max of 4 towels at a time otherwise it is too heavy and will not spin. How do I solve this problem

model # ? is it top loader or front loader?

it is a top loading washing machine. It is only about 2 years old. It was one that was taken out of an Apartment? Sorry do not have the exact details at the moment?

well if its a hot poit top loader, its either the motor, or more likeley the clutch shoes are wearing out
